Giuseppe Targia is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the telecommunications and defense sectors, currently serving as Senior Vice President for Space & Defence, Microwave Radio, and All in One Small Cell Unit at Nokia since April 2007. Targia oversees all wireless transport products within the Nokia Mobile Network Business Group, focusing on developments in Non Terrestrial Networks and 3GPP systems for defense. Previous roles include Vice President of various business units at Nokia, as well as leadership positions at Siemens Italia, Marconi, Telecom Italia, Alenia Aeronautica, and the Italian Army. Targia holds multiple degrees, including a PhD in Engineering from Politecnico di Torino and professional certifications such as CISSP.
