Ilja Tersteeg is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in marketing, communications, and event management. Currently serving as a Relatiemanager at NOC*NSF since October 2022, Ilja has also held the position of Manager Marketing, Communications, Partnerships, and Events at AFC Utrecht Dominators since founding the organization in 2004, where it received the Utrecht Sportsclub of the Year award in 2005. Previous roles include Senior Fondsenwerver & Corporate Partnerships at HandicapNL, Managing Director at BrandStuff Marketing, and Stadium Event Manager for the Dutch National American Football Team, among others. Ilja's educational background includes a Master's degree in Communication Studies from Utrecht University and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Avans University of Applied Sciences.
