Varun Dev is a seasoned professional in commercial and contract management, currently serving as the Director and Head of Asia Pacific Commercial at Noble Corporation since October 2022, with a focus on deepwater drilling rig contracts and sales in the Asia Pacific region. Prior to this role, Varun spent a decade at Maersk Drilling, holding various titles including Director and Senior Commercial Contract Negotiator, where responsibilities included managing commercial operations in Singapore, negotiating multimillion-dollar contracts, and developing customer relationships in Southeast Asia. Varun's earlier experience includes positions in supply chain consulting at Maire Tecnimont and contract procurement at TATA Power, complemented by formal education in mechanical engineering and project management, as well as a diploma in negotiation skills from Harvard Extension School.
