Tarek Ahmed is an experienced drilling professional with a comprehensive background in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as an Aux Driller at Noble Corporation since June 2020, Tarek has previously held positions at Maersk Drilling as an Assistant Driller on the sixth generation semi-sub rig Maersk Discoverer from August 2015 to 2022, and at Transocean in various roles, including Assistant Driller on the fifth generation drill ship Deep Water Expedition in Saudi Arabia and Mud System Operator on the sixth generation drill ship Deep Water Champion. Tarek began a career in the industry as a Derrick Man with Global Santafe Technical Service. Tarek holds a Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering with a focus on drilling from Cairo University, completed in 2003.
