Vesa Rapo is an experienced professional in development management, specializing in safety, environment, and quality across various sectors. Currently serving as Development Manager at Nobina Oy since March 2023, Vesa oversees safety, environment, and quality initiatives for the largest public transport company in the Nordic region. Previous roles include Safety Development Manager at Peab Suomi, Occupational Health Safety Manager for the City of Espoo, and Head of Sustainability and HSE at Empower Group. Vesa has a rich history in environmental health and safety auditing with Sandvik Mining and Construction and has a foundational background in risk management from If P&C Insurance. Vesa Rapo holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Management from the University of Helsinki and a Master of Science in Business Administration from the University of Vaasa.
