Bernhard Rijpkema is a seasoned professional in materials technology, currently serving as Manager of Materials Technology at Nobian since July 2021. Prior to this role, Bernhard held similar managerial positions at Nouryon and AkzoNobel Industrial Chemicals B.V. from October 2018 to July 2021 and October 2013 to October 2018, respectively. Bernhard's career at AkzoNobel spans over two decades, including roles as a Materials Engineering Consultant and Polymer Engineering Specialist, starting as a Research Chemist at Akzo Nobel Fibers from 1989 to 1994. Bernhard holds a Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Delft University of Technology, earned between 1984 and 1989.
