Rachel Riley

Rachel Riley is an accomplished barrister at No5 Chambers since October 2015, specializing in public law and regularly handling Court of Protection proceedings related to health, welfare, and property affairs. Prior experience includes advocacy in County Court hearings at LPC Law and legal consultancy in commercial and EU competition law at LEGAL Attorneys & Counselors. Rachel also contributed as a legal researcher at the Human Rights Foundation of Turkey, focusing on torture legislation, and gained experience as a legal intern at the Regional Public Defenders Office for Capital Cases. Earlier roles involved advocacy for clients with mental health issues at Citizens Advice and chairing Hospital Managers hearings regarding the Mental Health Act at Hywel Dda NHS Trust.
