Edin Izmirlija is an experienced banking professional currently serving as the Deputy Head of the Corporate and SME Sector at NLB Banka Sarajevo since September 2024. Prior to this role, Edin spent over 20 years at Intesa Sanpaolo Banka BiH, where positions included Advisor to the President of the Management Board, Chief Risk Officer, Acting Chief Risk Officer, Deputy Chief Risk Officer, Head of the Risk Management Department, and Risk Management Analyst. Edin's expertise lies in risk management, with a strong background in overseeing various risk departments and advising on risk-related matters. Edin holds a degree in Accounting and Finance from the School of Economics and Business in Sarajevo, completed between 1997 and 2004.
