Milo Kaptein is a PhD student at The Netherlands Cancer Institute, starting in September 2023. Previously, Milo served as a Business Development Intern at Oncode Institute from September 2022 to June 2023, where support was provided to academic researchers in advancing fundamental research to the market. A major research internship was completed at UMC Utrecht from September 2021 to June 2022, focused on the role of specific mutations in the Wnt pathway in liver cancer development, including laboratory experience and scientific report writing. Additional experience includes Bron- en contact onderzoek at GGD regio Utrecht, home care work at Aethon.nl, participation in the Career Day Committee at M.B.V. Mebiose, and mentoring during Utrechtse Introductie Tijd. Milo holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Utrecht University, completed in 2020, and also attended UC Santa Barbara in 2020.
