Richa Vartak is a Bioconjugation Scientist at NJ Bio, Inc. since May 2023, focusing on the development and characterization of antibody-drug conjugates and antibody-oligonucleotide conjugates. Prior to this role, Richa served as a Platform Innovation Scientist, where responsibilities included bioconjugating novel chemotherapeutic payloads on clinically relevant antibody scaffolds and developing 2D and 3D cell-based assays for antibody-drug conjugates. Richa completed a Doctor of Philosophy in Industrial and Physical Pharmacy and Cosmetic Sciences at St. John's University from August 2019 to March 2023, where Richa also held roles as a Doctoral Fellow, Graduate Teaching Assistant, and Student Worker at the Animal Care Centre. Richa earned a Master of Science in Industrial Pharmacy from St. John's University between August 2017 and August 2019, and obtained a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from Bombay College of Pharmacy from 2013 to 2017. Richa also gained practical experience as an intern at Ajanta Pharma Ltd in June 2016.
