Grace Pohan has a diverse work experience in the field of research and engineering. Grace currently works as a Senior Research Associate at Nitrase Therapeutics, specializing in assay development. Prior to this, Grace worked as an Assistant Specialist at the University of California, San Francisco from 2019 to 2022. Grace also served as a Research Associate at the University of Waterloo from 2018 to 2019. Grace's earlier experiences include being a Master of Applied Science Candidate in Chemical Engineering at the University of Waterloo from 2016 to 2018, where they focused on the fabrication and characterization of hydrogel vascular grafts. Grace also worked as a Manufacturing Engineer II at Baxter BioScience Manufacturing SARL from 2013 to 2016 and as an Exchange Student at the Genome and Biomedical Sciences Facility, University of California, Davis in 2012. Grace started their career as a Trainee (Coop Student) at the Institute of Materials Research and Engineering in 2011.
Grace Pohan completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Bioengineering from the National University of Singapore from 2009 to 2013. In 2012, they briefly studied Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering at the University of California, Davis. Grace pursued further education and obtained a Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Waterloo from 2016 to 2018.
