Udaya M has extensive work experience in the academic field. They are currently an Associate Professor at NIT Warangal, a position they have held since July 2022. Prior to this, from May 2012 to August 2023, Udaya served as an Assistant Professor at the National Institute of Technology-Warangal in India. They also worked as an Assistant Professor at Manipal University Jaipur from August 2011 to May 2012. Before entering the professorship, Udaya worked as a Research Scholar at CITCEA-UPC from March 2007 to February 2011. Udaya began their academic career as a Master's student at Deggendorf Institute of Technology, Deggendorf from November 2006 to March 2007.

Udaya M holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Technical University of Catalonia in Spain.
