Marc Okin is an experienced environmental remediation professional with a career spanning several decades in the energy sector. Currently serving as the Director of Environmental Remediation at NiSource since 2000, Marc oversees a team managing environmental liabilities across multiple states, addressing issues related to Manufactured Gas Plants, CERCLA and RCRA sites, and coal combustion byproduct sites. Previous roles include managing remediation portfolios of legacy sites and projects focused on natural gas compressor station remediations. Marc's early career involved overseeing the Underground Storage Tank remediation program for Sun Oil Company. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Geology from Kent State University and a Bachelor of Science in Geology/Earth Science from Bowling Green State University.
