Samuel Ibrahim has extensive work experience in portfolio implementation and operations in the finance industry. Samuel currently serves as the Head of Portfolio Implementation at Ninety One, leading a team across major financial hubs globally. Samuel'sresponsibilities include strategic oversight, cross-functional collaboration, and managing portfolio constructions and liquidations.
Prior to their current role, Samuel held the position of Portfolio Implementation & Operations Manager - Asia at Ninety One, where they managed a team and oversaw trade lifecycle management and collaboration with stakeholders. Samuel also worked as a Portfolio Implementation Manager, responsible for establishing portfolio implementation in Hong Kong and implementing efficient portfolio management processes.
Before joining Ninety One, Samuel worked at M&G Investments as a Fund Manager Assistant and Alternatives & Tax Analyst. Samuel also gained experience at Lakewood Asset Management as an Account Opener and at Frank Hirth as a Tax & Audit Assistant.
Samuel Ibrahim completed their High School education at St Edwards Church of England School from 2001 to 2006. Samuel then attended Havering College of Higher & Further Education and earned a degree in Accounting (AAT) from 2006 to 2008. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Anglia Ruskin University, graduating in 2010. In 2013, Samuel attended Fitch Learning and obtained a degree in IMC. Lastly, from 2014 to 2016, they furthered their education at Fitch Learning and completed a degree in CFA.
