He is an Electrophysiologist with over 20 years of experience specializing in cardiovascular diseases.

Dr. Deshmukh is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and New York. He practices cardiovascular surgeries at Guthrie Medical Group. He got his degree from University of Bombay in India and did his residency at New York and at Derby, England. He received fellowships in Electrophysiology and Cardiology from Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York. His clinical and research publication interests include Arrhythmias, Atrial Fibrillation, Cardiac Ablation, Heart Failures and Implantable Device therapy. Dr. Deshmukh is passionate about bringing long-term arrythmia and ischemia monitoring to at-risk population. He has shaped the conception and the definition of NimbleHeart product.
