Faisal Ahmed is an experienced engineering professional specializing in embedded systems and software development. Currently serving as the R&D Technical Team Manager for Electrical and Software at Nilfisk since June 2017, Faisal leads the architecture and development of embedded software for autonomous cleaning machines. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Embedded Software Engineer at Cummins Power Generation, where software development for embedded control systems was led, and as Design Engineer II at Silent Knight by Honeywell, focusing on fire alarm control panels. Early career experience includes designing fault-tolerant computing systems at Rackmaster Systems Inc. Faisal holds a Master of Science in Software Engineering with a concentration in Embedded Systems from the University of St. Thomas and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from St. Cloud State University.
