Ed Mekhitarian has over 17 years of work experience in the field of information technology. Ed currently holds the position of Director of IT at Nile since October 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a Technology Manager at Primex Clinical Laboratories for over 16 years, from May 2004 to December 2020. In this role, they were responsible for interface implementation, process overview, management, guidance, quality control testing, connectivity, and mapping. Ed also handled daily system backups, data integrity checks, and technical troubleshooting within an enterprise environment. Additionally, they designed and implemented the company's intranet and website, managed vendors, and had proficiency in various software systems. Before joining Primex Clinical Laboratories, Ed worked as an Information Technology Help Desk Consultant at California State University, Northridge from March 2003 to May 2004.

Ed Mekhitarian completed their education with a High School Diploma in General Studies from Glendale High School, from 1996 to 2000. Later, they pursued a degree in Information Systems Business from California State University, Northridge, from 2003 to 2009. Additionally, they obtained the Scrum Master Certified (SMC) certification from Scrum.org in May 2021.
