Ruirui Gu is a seasoned professional in public service and investment, currently serving as a Researcher at NYU Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service since February 2021, where Ruirui focuses on the development of New York City through comprehensive reporting. As a Deal Team Associate at NIIF: NYU Impact Investment Fund since September 2020, responsibilities include sourcing and formulating investment strategies for education technology companies aimed at supporting low-income students, alongside fundraising activities. Ruirui has also been a partner at Rippling Education Consultancy since March 2017, actively engaging in public benefit programs in Rwanda and Kenya that promote gender equity. Previous roles include volunteering with Mi Familia Vota to enhance voter turnout in Texas and conducting research on Chinese companies in Africa at the China-Africa Business Council. Ruirui's educational background includes a Master’s in Public Administration with a focus on international development from New York University and a Bachelor’s in Education Technology from Beijing Normal University.
