Odera Genevieve Onyema serves as the Vice President of the Hudson College of Public Health Student Association and is currently a Graduate Research Assistant at Hudson College of Public Health. With extensive experience at the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control as a Scientific Officer, Odera contributes to various Event-Based-Surveillance systems, addressing public health events and infectious diseases, while also supporting infectious disease technical working groups. Previous roles include Curator of Ideas at TEDx, President and Secretary General of Charity Community Development Service during National Youth Service Corps, an intern at FHI 360, and an On Air Personality at Zuma FM Radio. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Public Health from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and a Bachelor's degree in Public Health Technology from the Federal University of Technology Owerri, Nigeria.
