Sreenivas Talasila is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in managing large teams and driving significant business growth. Currently serving as Senior Director of Technology at Nielsen since April 2018, Sreenivas leads a national TV reporting technology organization with nearly 100 team members, contributing to over $1.2 billion in annual revenue. Prior to this role, Sreenivas held the position of Senior Director of Application Platforms at FINRA from May 2004 to February 2018, successfully overseeing mission-critical initiatives with a team of about 50. Earlier career experiences include serving as Technical Lead at Capital One and as a member of the technical staff at Hughes Network Systems. Sreenivas holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the Bangalore Institute of Technology.
