Alita Joyce is an experienced User Experience researcher and instructor with a strong background in user experience design and research. Currently serving as an Invited Instructor at Nielsen Norman Group since August 2023, Alita has also been a User Experience Researcher at Google since February 2022, focusing on the Google Cloud Platform, Gemini, and Cloud Design System. Prior roles include User Experience Specialist at Nielsen Norman Group from April 2018 to February 2022, where Alita conducted research, published findings, and trained over 3,000 UX professionals. Alita also worked as a UX Designer - Research Assistant at Northwestern University, contributing to gamification projects and handling various technical responsibilities. Alita holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Illinois State University and completed a Coding Boot Camp at Northwestern University in 2017.
