Emily Mizelle is an Associate at Nicolaides Fink Thorpe Michaelides Sullivan LLP, where Emily has worked since September 2022, focusing on insurance coverage litigation. Prior experience includes roles as a Law Clerk for the Contra Costa Public Defender and as a Legal Intern in the Federal Public Defender’s Capital Habeas Unit. Previously, Emily served as a Paralegal at Nicolaides Fink Thorpe Michaelides Sullivan LLP and as a Practice Assistant at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP in public finance. Additional internships include work at TEDxMileHigh, The Contiguglia Law Firm, Denver District Attorney's Office, and the Colorado Department of Health Care Policy & Financing. Emily Mizelle earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of San Francisco School of Law and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and History from the University of Colorado Boulder, along with a Certificate in Legal Assistant/Paralegal from Arapahoe Community College.
