Monika Grewal is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in machine learning and medical imaging. Currently serving as a Machine Learning Researcher at Nicolab since March 2024, Monika previously held the position of PhD Candidate at Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica, where research focused on deep learning methods for deformable image registration and advancements in automatic landmark detection and auto-contouring in medical images. Prior to this, Monika was the Lead Data Scientist at ParallelDots, leading a team to develop AI solutions for market research, and contributed to deep learning methods for automated diagnosis from CT scans. Monika's early career included roles as Scientist B at the National Brain Research Centre, where leadership in developing processing toolboxes for MRI techniques was key, and as a Senior R&D Engineer focusing on digital signal processing in MRI data analysis. Monika's academic background includes a PhD in Artificial Intelligence and Medical Imaging from Delft University of Technology, an M.Tech in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, and a B.Tech in ECE from TIT&S.
