Ted Appelman has a diverse work experience in the finance and banking industry. Ted held the role of Finance Director at NIBC Bank, starting in October 2008. Prior to that, they were the CFO of Real Estate Markets at NIBC Bank from March 2006 to September 2008. Before joining NIBC Bank, Ted worked as the Corporate Controller at ING Financial Services LLC New York from 1999 to 2006. Ted also served as a Senior Finance Officer at ING Barings from 1997 to 1999. Ted began their career at Ernst & Young, where they worked as an Audit Supervisor from September 1991 to December 1996.

Ted Appelman attended Rijks Universiteit Groningen from 1985 to 1991, where they earned a Drs degree in Business Economics. Ted then pursued further education at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) from 1992 to 1996, obtaining a post-graduate register accountant (RA) degree.
