Frits van der Scheer is an experienced financial professional currently serving as Head of Asset Management and Head of Portfolio Management for Retail Banking at NIBC Bank since June 2008. Additionally, Frits is a member of the Verantwoordingsorgaan DNA APF Kring B since August 2021 and previously held the position of Board Member for Stichting Pensioenfonds NIBC, focusing on risk management from June 2012 to December 2021. Frits' earlier roles include Manager of Risk Management at Delta Lloyd Bankengroep, where key responsibilities involved the implementation of Basel II and overseeing business operations, as well as various managerial positions in business control and arrears. Frits began a career at ING as a Management Trainee before taking on marketing and team management roles. Frits holds a Master's degree in Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam, along with several leadership and treasury qualifications.
