Martina VanDyke is a forensic professional with a strong academic background and diverse practical experience in forensic science. Currently working in Forensic Services at Niagara Regional Police Service since January 2022, Martina previously served as a Scenes of Crime Specialist at Peel Regional Police from March 2021 to January 2022. Martina has also contributed to academia as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Academic Assistant at Trent University, where responsibilities included conducting laboratory activities for crime scene investigations. Through research collaboration with Ontario Provincial Police and Michigan State Police, Martina explored the use of composite sketches in facial recognition technologies. Educational accomplishments include a Master of Science in Forensic Science and a Bachelor of Science in Forensic Science, both from Trent University.
