Carmen Geraldes is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management and operations across various organizations. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Operations at Nia Tero since July 2021, Carmen oversees processes, contracts, and production requirements while ensuring efficient project management activities. Previously, as Project Manager at UNOPS, Carmen managed COVID-19 Emergency Response projects in Indonesia and the Pacific, overseeing supply-chain operations and stakeholder management. Prior roles include a Project Management Intern at UNOPS, where Carmen focused on quality assurance and process improvement, and a Program Effectiveness Consultant at ChildFund International, where responsibilities involved supporting organizational change and regional strategy development. Carmen's academic background includes a Master's Degree in Development Economics and International Development from La Trobe University and a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Nova School of Business and Economics.
