Don Martin is an accomplished aviation professional with extensive experience in helicopter operations and instruction. Currently serving as SFO at NHV Group since August 2024, Don previously held roles at CHC Helicopter as SFO O&G and Contract Pilot from April 2022 to August 2024. Don's career includes significant time with the Qatar Emiri Air Force from December 2012 to May 2021 as an AW 139 SAR Pilot Instructor/Examiner, focusing on advanced training in search and rescue and oil and gas operations. Don's experience also includes work at CHC Helicopter as an O&G Helicopter Pilot and a lengthy tenure at FBH Ltd as an AW 139 SAR Pilot Instructor. Early career experience includes service with the RAF from 1986 to 2003 as a pilot. Don holds a degree in Electronic Engineering from Edinburgh University, earned from 1982 to 1986.
