Ramon Fernandes is currently a Healthtech and Innovation Fellow at BiteLabs Healthtech, starting in June 2023. Since December 2018, Ramon has been a Committee Member of the Innovation Special Interest and Advisory Group for BAPRAS. As a Core Surgical Trainee at University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust since August 2021, Ramon has focused on General Surgery, Plastic Surgery, and Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgery. Previous roles include Anatomy Demonstrator at King's College London and Foundation Year Doctor positions at North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust and Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. Ramon held the presidency at King's MedTech from April 2017 to July 2018 and was involved with Lifebox as a University Representative. Education includes qualifications from institutions such as the Royal College of Surgeons of England, King's College London, and the University of the Witwatersrand.
