Chris Middleton is an experienced operations and performance leader with a comprehensive background in defense and healthcare. Currently serving as the Operations and Performance Lead for Medicine and Unscheduled Care at NHS Grampian since August 2022, Chris's previous roles include Director of Operations at Quirk Solutions Ltd, where a £4M readiness testing programme for Dubai Expo 2020 was successfully delivered. Chris's extensive experience also encompasses senior leadership positions within Strategic Command, the UK Ministry of Defence, Joint Forces Command, and the Royal Navy, with a strong focus on operational management, strategic planning, and transformational change. An accomplished leader with significant contributions to major defense initiatives, Chris holds a Master of Arts in Defence Studies from King's College London and a Bachelor of Education in Physical Education from Bangor University.
