Jim Miller

Chief Executive at NHS 24

Jim Miller has had a successful career in various leadership roles, primarily in the healthcare and procurement sectors. Jim most recently served as the Chief Executive Officer of NHS 24, where they focused on integrating technology and a person-centered approach to improve service delivery. Prior to that, they held positions at NHS Scotland, where they served as the Director of Procurement Commissioning and Facilities and as the Strategic Sourcing Director. Before joining NHS Scotland, Jim worked at Alfred McAlpine as the Supply Chain Director, overseeing outsourced FM services for clients across multiple sectors. Jim also had a significant role at British Airports Authority, where they served as the Head of Group Supply Chain, leading innovative approaches to commercial arrangements and managing contract service recovery after the impact of 9/11.

Jim Miller received a BSc Hons degree in Social Geography and Economics from The Open University in 2006. In 2010, they attended the University of Aberdeen and completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Health Economics.
