Dennis Cassel is currently the CFO at NGS Films and Graphics. Prior to this, they were with InTown Suites where they served as the Chief Financial Officer and Interim President. Dennis was selected by private equity firm Starwood Capital to lead the company through a large-scale cultural change during an 8-month transition. While retaining their CFO functions, they oversaw company-wide strategic planning and direction across business development, financial management, operations, sales/marketing, HR, and IT. Dennis was successful in increasing company value, number of properties and room rates during an economic downturn. Dennis also launched a national reservation call center and drove RevPAR to its highest in company history.
Before InTown Suites, Dennis Cassel was with Deloitte Consulting. Dennis progressed to senior management level in two years and worked across multiple industries. Dennis directed and/or supported client engagements in financial process improvement, systems implementation, and strategic cost reduction. As a leading member of a multi-disciplined team, they identified $14.4M in savings for a national retailer, implemented enterprise-wide accounting software solution for regional office/industrial REIT, and designed Sarbanes-Oxley policies/procedures for a national healthcare organization.
Dennis Cassel holds an MBA in Real Estate from Georgia State University as well as a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business. Dennis is also certified by the Georgia State Board of Accountancy as a Certified Public Accountant.
