Cecilia Chung is a seasoned advocate and leader in public health and human rights, currently serving as the North America NGO Delegate for the UNAIDS Programme Coordinating Board since January 2022. Throughout a diverse career, Cecilia held critical roles at the Transgender Law Center, including Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives and Evaluation, while also contributing as a Health Commissioner for the San Francisco Department of Public Health. Cecilia's dedication to advancing the rights and well-being of marginalized communities is further demonstrated through positions such as Trustee at AIDS United, Board Member at The Sero Project, and past roles with the Presidential Advisory Council on HIV/AIDS and the Global Network of People Living with HIV. Cecilia holds a BS in International Management from Golden Gate University and has a strong history of leadership in various organizations focused on the health and rights of women and individuals living with HIV/AIDS.
