Rory Donnelly is an experienced professional in Earth observation and environmental science, currently serving as the Earth Observation Manager at EO Data Science since April 2021. Prior to this role, Rory was the Business Manager at the European Association of Remote Sensing Companies, where efforts focused on accelerating the uptake of Earth Observation products and services. Rory has also established a commercial services department at the Plymouth Marine Laboratory and previously held R&D and Programme Manager positions at 3E, overseeing wind power research and development. Earlier experience includes roles as an Air Quality Scientist at Sinclair Knight Merz and Research Engineer at MeteoFrance. An academic background includes various teaching and research roles at Murdoch University, alongside a PhD in Atmospheric Dispersion Modelling and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Environmental Science from the same institution.
