Roger Nicholls is a seasoned telecommunications professional with extensive experience in the 911 emergency communications field. Since March 2020, Roger has served as a Senior PSAP Technical Engineer at NGA 911, following a lengthy tenure at GTE/Verizon/Frontier from January 1980 to March 2020 as a 911 Service Technician and Telecommunications Specialist. Roger has installed over 120 systems and provided primary repair support for more than 40 police and fire agencies, showcasing expertise in both Legacy and Next Gen E911 equipment. A member of the 911 Cut-over Team for Orange and Los Angeles Counties in 1983, Roger's background includes significant work on telephone networks and 911 CPE systems. Earlier experience includes roles as a Data Communications Tester at GTE/Verizon and as an MA1 Electronics Mechanic for the United States Air Force, where Roger repaired armament guidance systems for F106 aircraft. Roger's education includes studies at Bolsa Grande High School and Santa Ana College.
