Gareth Williams is a seasoned IT security professional with extensive experience in security architecture and solutions. Currently serving as a Senior Security Architect at NFU Mutual since June 2023, Gareth previously held the position of Security Solutions Architect at The Openwork Partnership, where responsibilities included creating and maintaining Security Reference Architecture. Prior roles within Nationwide Building Society included Enterprise Security Architect and IT Security Architect, focusing on technical direction and vulnerability management. Earlier in the career, Gareth contributed to IT support and consulting roles at Macmillan, Oxfordshire County Council, Abbott Diabetes Care, and IBM Global Services. Gareth holds an HND in Computer Systems Engineering from Oxford Brookes University and an Advanced GNVQ in Computer Systems Engineering from Swindon College.
