Cátia Costa has a diverse work experience that spans over several companies and industries. Cátia started their career as a Radio Producer and Announcer at CIDADE FM, where they gained experience in radio production and broadcasting. Cátia then worked as a Call Center Assistant at Qdata - Grupo Qmetrics, where they were involved in conducting questionnaire surveys and data collection. Cátia also had multiple roles as a Radio Announcer at Media Capital Rádios, where they showcased their communication skills on various radio programs.

In 2014, Cátia joined BNP Paribas Securities Services as an Officer in the Accounting control department. Cátia executed operational controls and certified accounts. Cátia later advanced to the role of Team Leader in Accounting Control, where they demonstrated their leadership and organizational skills.

Currently, Cátia is working at Nezasa as a Software QA Tester, starting in June 2023. This role involves testing and ensuring the quality of software products.

Cátia Costa obtained a Licenciatura degree in Ciências da Comunicação from Instituto Superior de Ciências Sociais e Políticas - Universidade Técnica de Lisboa, which they attended from 2008 to 2011. In 2010 to 2011, they also attended workshops at Cenjor - Centro Protocolar de Formação Profissional para Jornalistas, specializing in Press, Multimedia, Radio, and Television. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including Workshop de Preparação para Castings de Voz Off from Roda dos Sons in April 2022, Sustainability Essentials for Business - V6 from the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL) in February 2022, Introduction to Creative Problem Solving from EFFECTIVE Strategy Implementation in November 2020, French A2.2 (CEFR) from Alliance Française Lisbonne in February 2020, Stress Management from EFFECTIVE Strategy Implementation in February 2020, Analytical Thinking: Six Thinking Hats from Mercer in January 2019, and Excel Advanced from GALILEU - Focus on Success in December 2018.
