John Mercier is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in various technical roles across multiple companies. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Nexxen since September 2021, John previously held positions such as Software Engineer III at Altamira Technologies Corporation, where important projects included designing a gradle plugin for security compliance and creating a test framework for development teams. Prior to this, John worked as a Senior Software Consultant at APG Tech, achieving significant reductions in build time, and as a Java Developer at Red Gate Group, focusing on ETL operations. With earlier experience as a Field Engineer at Intelligent Software Solutions and an Information System Technician in the US Navy, John holds a Computer Science degree from the University of Maryland Global Campus and an Associate in Specialized Technology degree from Pittsburgh Technical College.
