Anna is a Fellow at Nextech Invest, Ltd, where she assists with deal sourcing, evaluation and scientific due diligence of innovative oncology therapeutics start-ups. Anna is a scientist by training, with more than eleven years of experience in oncology.

Prior to Nextech, Anna completed seven years of postdoctoral research at the Oncology department of the Children’s Hospital Zurich and the University of Zurich. Her work aimed to identify specific and drug targetable vulnerabilities in refractory and relapsed leukemia patients.

Anna holds a B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of Valencia (SP), a M.S. in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University Pierre et Marie Curie (FR) and a Ph.D in Stem Cell Biology from the University of Cambridge (UK), where her research focused on lung stem cells and cancer. For her Ph.D, she obtained a prestigious Herchel Smith fellowship and a Sidney Sussex postgraduate research studentship.
