David Ferrell is a Partner at Nexsen Pruet, LLC, since August 2017, with a focus on civil matters including civil litigation, professional liability defense, and construction litigation. Prior to this role, David served as a Partner and Chair of the Raleigh Office at Vandeventer Black LLP from 2002 to July 2017, where representation included architects, engineers, contractors, and liability carriers in various disputes. David's legal career began at Hafer, Caldwell & Ferrell, P.A. from 1996 to 2002, practicing in legislative representation, administrative law, and business law. David holds a J.D. from Campbell University, Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law, and a B.A. in Political Science and Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
