David Insa has over 20 years of work experience in the technology industry. David began their career at INTRIA-HP/CIBC as a Technical Analyst/LAN Administrator and later held roles as a Technical Specialist and Systems Developer. David then worked at Unisys/Toronto Hydro as a Technical Support Specialist before moving to BackWeb Technologies as a Systems Administrator. David then joined ITworksco as a Technical Consultant and later worked at NRX as a Systems Analyst, Infrastructure & Landscape, Build/Release Engineer, and Senior QA Analyst. David also worked at CAA South Central Ontario as an IT Systems Analyst. Currently, David is employed at NexJ Systems as a DevOps Engineer, Development Operations.

David Insa completed a Diploma in Systems Analyst from Sheridan College in 1999. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Human Geography from York University in 1997.
