Akram Abdul Rahman is a seasoned cybersecurity professional currently serving as a Cybersecurity Automation Architect at Nexagate since July 2024. With extensive experience in various organizations, Akram previously held positions such as SVP - Lead, Security Monitoring & Incident Response at Affin Bank Group, Cyber Defense Tower Lead at Wipro, and AVP - Lead in SIEM Security Engineering & Analytics at Maybank. Additional roles include Senior Manager, Splunk Engineer at Standard Chartered Bank and Manager, Engineering at Bluesify, among others. Akram holds a Master of Science in Cybersecurity and Digital Forensic from Universiti Teknologi MARA, a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Open University Malaysia, and a Diploma in Information Technology from Kolej Universiti Poly-Tech MARA.
