Marcos Martins de Camargo is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management and engineering within the mining, infrastructure, and construction sectors. Currently serving as the General Manager for Brazil and Peru at Nexa Resources since November 2020, Marcos oversees the execution of brownfield and greenfield projects, emphasizing health, safety, and environmental standards, as well as project quality and timelines. Previous roles include General Manager for the Aripuanã Project, Studies & Project Manager at Vale, and Construction Project Manager at Construarte LDA, among others. Marcos has a notable background in developing and implementing large-scale projects, including the Moatize Coal Mine in Mozambique, and holds a degree in Civil Engineering from FAAP - Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado.
