Milagros Josefina Guzmán has worked in various roles in the financial services industry since 2004. Milagros Josefina began their career at Banco Nacional de Crédito, Banco Universal as Vice President of Electronic Payment Means. In this role, they were responsible for planning, coordinating, directing and advising the proper functioning of the bank's electronic channels, products and services. Milagros Josefina was also in charge of directing the growth of cards and channels, guaranteeing acceptable levels of service, executing the development of the business' strategic plans, and providing a secure and consumer-oriented service. Areas under their management included Contact Center, Business Issuer (credit and debit cards), and Business Acquirer (Point of Sale and ATMs).

In 2009, Milagros Josefina Guzmán moved to BFC Banco Fondo Común as Electronic Payment Means Vice-President. In this role, they were responsible for directing, coordinating and supervising the Business Plan of Payment Means at BFC, implementing expansion strategies that allowed for sustainable and low-risk growth, launching new products, and creating strategic alliances with companies to facilitate the exchange and financing of customer goods and services.

In 2015, Milagros Josefina Guzmán took on two roles simultaneously. Milagros Josefina became Country Manager at A & L Global In, an SEO, Social Media, Digital Marketing, Development, and Electronic Payment Means company, as well as Country Manager Central America Region at Newtech Solutions Group. At Newtech Solutions Group, they were responsible for conceptualizing, developing, managing, and implementing multi-level strategies and projects that directly impacted the core business. Milagros Josefina was also responsible for market analysis and evaluation, identifying business opportunities, developing marketing channels, and managing customer portfolios. Additionally, they established strategic relationships with both customers and suppliers, analyzed and resolved conflicts, identified the needs of internal and external customers, and translated them into tangible solutions.

Milagros Josefina Guzmán completed a Lic.Organización y Sistemas degree in Administración from Universidad Simon Rodriguez between 1991 and 2006. Milagros Josefina then obtained a TSU INFORMATICA degree in Computación from IUTIRLA between 1987 and 1990. In 2013, they obtained a Creciendo en Liderazgo certification from OTI. Finally, in 2014, they completed a Coach Organizacional degree in Administración y gestión de empresas, general from IESA.
