Michele Brown is an experienced educator currently serving as a Teacher at New Story since January 2023, specializing in high school instruction. Prior experience includes a role as a Doctoral Student and a Special Education Teacher focusing on Emotional Disabilities within Marana Unified School District from 1995 to 2023. Michele has taught various subjects including Language Arts, Gifted, and mathematics for middle school grades. Additionally, Michele contributed to the community as an Assistant Wrestling Coach at Tortolita Middle School from 2000 to 2014. Academic qualifications include a Master's in Special Education with a focus on Autism and Applied Behavioral Analysis from Penn State University, alongside other advanced degrees in English Literature and Education from Bangor University, East Stroudsburg University, and Rutgers University.
