In 2006, they became Content Manager at the Chicago Sun-Times, where they developed the newspaper's first web-only content area. From 2007 to 2019, they were President, Editor-in-Chief, and Managing Editor at Newser. In 2019, they co-founded Rainy Day Boxes. Additionally, from 2002 to 2007, they were Editor-in-Chief at Kitchens.com, where they kept trend and product information refreshed for the country's leading website for kitchen design and remodeling info.
