Mario Sacco is a sports journalist with extensive experience in various roles across multiple media outlets. Currently serving as a Sports Reporter for NewsChannel 9 WSYR since March 2016, Mario has previously worked as Sports Director at WETM-TV, where responsibilities included anchoring and reporting newscasts as well as managing sports department scheduling. Other notable experience includes roles as a Sports Anchor/Reporter at WETM-TV, a Marketing Assistant at Diamond Drugs Inc., and various internships that provided foundational skills in sports reporting and broadcasting. Mario holds a Master’s degree in Broadcast Journalism from Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Washington & Jefferson College.
