Doug Potts has a strong background in sales and business development in the library technology industry. Doug began their career at OCLC in 1999, where they worked in various sales roles, including Sales Director and Senior Sales Executive. At OCLC, they led sales teams, managed sales partners, and consistently achieved high sales rankings. In 2013, they joined Innovative Interfaces as a Sales Director, where they again exceeded sales goals and earned recognition for their team's performance. From 2015 to 2018, they worked at bibliotheca as a Business Development Manager, driving annual growth and surpassing quota targets. Currently, they serve as Vice President of Sales for Public Libraries at NewsBank, where they have successfully exceeded sales quotas and led a team to four consecutive years of growth.
Doug Potts has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Cum Laude, from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business, with a major in Marketing. Doug also holds an Executive Master of Business Administration degree from Washington University in St. Louis - Olin Business School, specializing in Marketing and Finance.
