Randy Walund has extensive experience in the mining industry, currently serving as Mine Superintendent for Newmont Corporation since January 2001, where responsibilities include leading the mining team for the Long Canyon Surface/Heap Leach project. Previous roles at Battle Mountain Gold from May 1992 to December 2000 encompass various engineering and supervisory positions, including Chief Engineer and Senior Mine Engineer. Randy Walund holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mining Engineering from Montana Technological University.
