Jonas Dwomoh is an experienced mining engineer currently serving as a Senior Mine Planning professional at Newmont Corporation since October 2023. Previously, Jonas held roles at WSP and Newcrest Mining Limited, where significant contributions included developing a 15-Year Tactical Mine Plan and performing biweekly mine scheduling, respectively. Jonas completed a Master of Engineering in Mining Engineering at The University of British Columbia and holds a Bachelor of Science with First Class Honors in Mining Engineering from the University of Mines and Technology. Early career experiences include positions at Solar Mining Services Pty Ltd, MAXAM, Kinross Gold Corporation, HeidelbergCement, and AngloGold Ashanti, where various technical and engineering roles were undertaken, including a notable project as a Quarry life Award finalist.
